The latest development in his string of legal proceedings brings another big name into the mix. To further his case against Microsoft and the RROD, not just anyone would do - not Major Nelson, not Don Mattrick, not Steve Ballmer - he goes straight up to the big cheese himself: Bill Gates.

Ubisoft - Image 1During an investor conference call this afternoon, Yves Guillemot confirmed that he and his crew are set on providing support for the new motion controllers arriving next year. Although he didn't go into detail about what those games would be, the Ubisoft CEO did point out how many games they've got cooking.

DSi LL - Image 1I don't think I've ever seen the Nintendo DSi fall beyond the third spot in the Japanese hardware sales charts. Until now, that is. But before you go celebrating that the dual-screened handheld has finally been humbled, read up first. Yes, the DSi has indeed fallen to 5th place, in the race, only to be replaced by its cousin, the DSi LL on top of the charts. Sorry guys, but Nintendo's still got the Japanese market's attention in this fight.

BBC iPlayer - Image 1As far as the British are concerned, the BBC iPlayer is already available on the Wii and PS3. What's the hold-up for Xbox 360? According to sources close to BBC’s Future Media and Technology department, the delay is due to the conflict between BBC's public service remit and the fact that Microsoft wants to charge for the service via Gold and Sky subscriptions.
