I hear clearing your hard drive's chache will let you download it. If i remebmer right, you select your hard drive and press X X LB RB X X and that clears the cache.

Ugh, last night, at around 7:00 PM It the "Halo 3 beta" option in crackdown, was grey..... It said "PLease wait for another date.." or something like that.

I cleared my cache at about 7:20 PM yesterday, and bam got the Crackdown update and Halo 3 beta was available for download. Took 20 minutes

It took me up to 4 hours, just to play 7 matches (maybe less). Whats cool is that marketplace offers a free 48 hour Gold Membership, and a slice of heaven.
I should have saved the GM for the weekend when I'm allowed to play. Hey, I couldn't help myself.

Last December I purchased a "premium" edition and had little or no fuss. Had the occasion "dirty disc" error message pop up, but nothing serious. 2 days ago I did an 8 hour game fest and well ... the system is freezing up on multiple game titles.
Customer Service is saying 14 "business days" total. So if your a Crackdown owner or beta member, doesn't that suck if you had to send your system in?
Cheers and consider yourself lucky.

I haven't been able to check out the new spring update, play Gears of war, and most importantly Halo 3. There also lots of demos and arcade games out that I want to try out badly. I also just bought an HDTV, so I can't wait to see how the games will look like on my 32" 1080i TV!
