The whole porn industry did not select HD-DVD. There is porn on BD-ROM too. For a time Sony would not let it's licenced distributors put porn on Blu-Ray or hey would loose their licences to make and distribute Blu-Ray. Bottom line Porn is on Blu-Ray.

its not like sony never lost exclusives before ..they lost resident evil zero the remake of resident evil 1 metal gear solid 2 was on xbox and most other games were multi platform but it didnt hurt sony and loosing exclusive games wont hurt them now and it never wont..

Those of us who've grown up, moved out of our parents homes, have good jobs and put together nice HD entertainment systems would absolutely disagree with you.
There is a definite lacking in HD media available for those of use who own big screen Plasma, LCD and DLP etc TV's, and HD-DVD/Bluray is just the thing to take advantage of our new systems.
Plus, in just a couple years once the analog SD broadcasts cease to exist, HD will be in even bigger demand, too bad you will still be an idiot.

your totally missing the point of an add on, I spent 150Euros buying my HD DVD (which I still dont believe is losing any war) as I wanted to watch the first wave of HD, it is very easy for my to spend another 150Euros getting a Blu-Ray adaptor if HD DVD ever goes under (although it'll be years before either format is really gone), what will you do if Blu-Ray dies, buy a HD DVD adaptor for your PS3, give me a break.
It wont really matter to me though as I might pick up a PS3 if more games come out to complete my WiiPs60 :)

If you don't care about quality and eat crap all the time, then you won't mind that the Xbox360 is a crappy DVD player. That's is ONE of the reason why I return my Xbox360 for my money back.

Whenever one format wins and is clearly dominant, then that drive will be widely available for your PC, nuff said....
But that won't happen until games actually need the capacity of an HD medium, and that will probably not be for at least 2 years, if not more, as even the newest PC games still fit on a dual-layer DVD.
Will have to see how big Crisis is, that will be the next big benchmark...

If MS keeps on upgrading there system then PS should switch the Ram to 1 gig for the newer models.Also XBOX 360 and PS3 graphics both suck, you would think that in 6 years they would have something amazing but they dont. THe graphics are alright they seriously look better than PS2 but that a ***** load like it should.If I where to buy a system I would buy the PS3.
