» Looks like this games will set the next gen driving games standard

This game is going to be the driving game that sets the next gen standard just as Gears of War has done with 3rd Person Shooters.

60 Fps !!!!! thats DOUBLE the PS3 game
Motorstorm, they announced 60 Fps but Now DROPPED to a MERE 30 FPS.

Forza 2
Tracks:
12 environments (8 real-world)
47 tracks (incl configurations/variations)

Comes with a huge amount of cars Ferrari,Aston Martin,Maserati, Lamborgini etc

And of course it has FORCED FEEDBACK something that is Vital for driving games but is lacking in other consoles.

why not compare it to a comparable game like um GTHD? or GT5 when info is released on that. im not a fanboy i love my 360 and ps3 but still compare the right game beause gthd was 60 fps and 1080p

He proberly compared it because no one seems to have a clue about any REAL details of GT5 and also the fact that no one has any real clue of its release date, whereas Motorstorm and Forza 2 we know most of the details now and the release dates look to be very close together.

 » word again lolz

ok seems understandable but still in a way they are both 2 completely different typs of games its like comparing mario kart to nascar just because they have similar release dates

 » same

The MC12 is just an Enzo w/ different body panels. The only reason Maserati built the 50 they did is because they wanted to be legal to enter into whatever race series there. So really they announced the same car. Kinda like saying they released 2 cars...a Dodge Neon and a Plymouth Neon.

Word makes TWO comments on the same post (and of course he has a 360) but anyway its because they are called STILLS ! (Do you think you could drive the car in that pic from those angles or something?) go look at any car pics on ANY console that are not grabbed from the actual race(not including Replay mode) of course they are going to have extra lighting etc

any yes i do own a 360 have owned 1 for quite some time and my gamertag is dipsetmonkey so yea um think before you make sarcastic marks and about the plastic comment jsut take a look at pgr3 cars looked extremely detailed but look extremely shiny and months ago Forza's creator said "it will look as good as pgr3" so um yea my point proven or not?

Nice, Looks like something that can be compared to the Porsche in GTHD.

Now if we can get some in game footage.

» No Forced Feedback = No simulation

You can not compare this game to anything on the PS3 for ONE BIG REASON its called FORCED FEEDBACK without it you can have the best looking game in the world but gameplay will be NOTHING, how can you play a car simulator if you cant feel the bumps, impacts, wheel spins etc its just laughable.

Now I dont know if GTHD has force feedback or not but if it has not then sadly you cannot compare these Two games as games like GTHD will always just be an arcade game as the realism will never be there(like permanently driving on ice).

 » GTHD Forced Feedback

You forget that you can only use the Rumbleless PS3 Sixaxis

   Re: me (Unregistered) - 2007-02-12
 » FF

hmm thats where your wrong, it doesnt matter if the ps3 has FF or not, cuz thats not where it comes from, FF comes from the code the Devs put into the game.. meaning the devs could include FF in any game they want , and also GTHD does have FF in the japenese version, and another ps3 game that supports FF is NFSC, i know cuz i play it with my G25 wheel.

 » oh please

oh please stop hating playstation fanboys the first forza on xbox destroyed gran tourismo, period, this one from what i'm hearing is going to up the first forza in every category, from graphics (do you see those realtime reflections), frame rates from 30 - 60, realistic force feedback, AI, etc, I am not into simulation racers because I bought forza on xbox and while the game was fun I could not keep up with it forza keeps you on your toes, slack of and the AI will be right there, but for people that like racing simulations this is as good as it gets this game is going to be the king of racing simulations when released.
