Just like with what happened during Rock Band's launch last year, complaints about failing peripheral controllers are piling on top of Guitar Hero: World Tour. Activision's latest rhythm-fest was released just last weekend, and already, numerous users have reported guitars and drums not working properly as they should.

Reports coming in from the Leipzig Games Convention indicate a new Xbox 360 controller is about to be rolled out onto retail. The redesign isn't substantially different from the regular one, and cosmetic overhauls aren't really noticeable. What's changed though? The D-Pad.
