Spider-Man: Web of Shadows - Image 1The New York Comic Con is known as one of the meccas of gamers from all walks of life. While a lot of announcements were made during the event, video game enthusiasts will probably want to pay attention to these bits of information gleaned from an Activision representative in the event.

According to the Activision rep, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 will not be out this year since the developers are planning on focusing on Spider-Man: Web of Shadows (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Wii, PSP, and PC)  as their superhero game for the holiday season.

Speaking of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, it was also hinted that there will be more playable characters aside from Spider-Man and Luke Cage. When the Activision rep was asked if there will be any other playable characters he said "I can't answer that." A statement, which as the author of the source article noted, usually means yes.

 » Not gonna complain

Im not gonna complain about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 not coming out this year...at least they are making it. I loved the first one (I was always Iron Man). This one should, with all hope, be just as fun!
