Atari and Eden Games just unleashed an interesting website where everyone gets to visit the twisted New York's locales and learn more about Alone in the Dark's (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360) many features. While exploring the highly anticipated survival horror's North American website, it's possible to pick up items to see their descriptions and unlock downloadable wallpapers while you're at it.

Aside from running across gas cans inside trees and learning that it's possible to create fire bullets in Alone in the Dark by using your pistol in tandem with flammable liquid, the site hosts a page which hints at an upcoming event. Apparently, you're supposed to "spread the flame to your friends" to win various prizes.

It won't be long until Alone in the Dark hits North American shelves this June 24, so we expect more details on the giveaways to surface. We'll be keeping tabs, and all you have to do is check back for updates!
