EA's cooperative third-person shooter Army of Two is proving to be quite a hit on both the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Sony PlayStation 3. To extend the fun and mayhem of this hit, EA decided to create the Security and Strategy Corporation (SSC) Challenge mode and maps.

The SSC Challenge is essentially an over-the-top obstacle course with insane action that pits opposing teams of two in a frantic race to the finish. At stake in the online SSC skirmishes are the opportunity to join Army of Two's private military corporation SSC and the distinction of being the ultimate two-man military outfit.

The SSC Challenge Mode and Maps will be available on April 24 in North America and Europe on the Xbox LIVE MarketPlace. For PS3 owners, it'll be in the PlayStation Store on April 24 in North America and May 2008 in Europe.
