Assassin's Creed - Image 1Ubisoft has announced that the highly-anticipated Assassin's Creed (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC) has finally gone gold. This means that the game is already in its final form and all that remains is the actual manufacturing phase.

"We've been working very hard for nearly four years to make Assassin's Creed a reality and now there is a confirmed date when players will get to experience the results of our efforts," said Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond. Raymond will also be at HMV in Oxford this weekend to present new Assassin's Creed levels to the public.

Assassin's Creed for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 home video game consoles will be released on November 13. The game's PC version will be coming in early 2008. Those who pre-order the game will also get a free Assassin's Creed art book.

Force-feedback compatible controllers:

Force-feedback mice:

They've been around for quite a while. Black and White was the first game to support Immersion feedback mice technology, methinks.

» GREAT! Now at least we have a final launch date, wich is great :D

I'm gonna buy this game the 1st day... I wonder if I shoudl pre-order the art book or wait to buy so I can find a rebate (some relailers have 1st day of sell rebates sometimes).

ps: For those arguing over PC vs consoles. It depend on the person. But still, I really love PCs for RTS and every other game where you select a character or more, than click where you want them to go, but I HATE action games on PC. Sometimes it lags (depend on your PC), if your PC is not TOP NOTCH you have half baked graphics, you play on a small screen (~24" max, I'm on 19" high def. LCD), you are on a chair (with weels), you listen with speakers (2 for me).... while on the consoles, you play on a big TV (mine is 32" flat, but some have over 50"), you are on a couch (:D), you listen with your cinema system (5.1-7.1 systems with DTS/dolby/THX/etc), it NEVER lags, the graphics for EVERYBODY is equal (:D), etc. I'm more into consoles for games like that, and PCs for strat. games (simply NOT playable on consoles).
