And so here comes another adult-themed game that was snubbed by Australia's classication board, the OFLC. Simply put, they refused to stamp on a rating for Konami's horror-strategy title, Silent Hill: Homecoming (PS3, Xbox 360, PC).What could have possibly turned them off? We're not sure, but what's apparent is that they have decided that the game has got certain material in it that they find offensive. You think the nurses' skirts might have been too short for their liking? I mean, sure they have fugly varicose veins on their bloody legs, but come on. Only recently, Bethesda's Fallout 3 also fell prey to the stringent classification rules of Australia, having also been refused classification for the presence of morphine reference in the game, although it is for the purpose of healing injuries. And once again, frustrated gamers are coming out in the open questioning the viability of OFLC's "antiquated" regulatory policies, particularly when it comes to adult-themed games, which need not necessarily be sexual in nature. No word yet on how Konami took this news, or what they intend to do for their next step. Until we find out what the OFLC found specifically wrong with the game, we'll have to say it's got to be the nurses' legs. Related Silent Hill: Homecoming Articles:

» It's Konami not Capcom
I'm pretty sure it's made by Konami and Capcom does resident evil. Just to give a heads up.

The issue of whether a game gets rated in Australia is a relatively insignificant compared to the gross human rights violation of the complete and total disarmament of a population.
Enjoy your police state.

I`d choose my "police state" country anyday over others where shooting rampages happen practically every week cause of some loser going bonkers and guns being freely available.

Ah yes, the "shooting rampages" that happen "practically every week". Africa and South America are truly difficult places to live in being ruled by brute force and all. Oh, you meant the US, did you?
Here's a question to consider: if somebody uses a car to run down bystanders on a street, would you feel comfortable supporting a car ban?
