Black Rock Studio to release Pure in Autumn 2008, six extreme screens - Image 1

If your hands are itching to grab hold on to the throttle in order to experience a rush, then you should try out Black Rock Studio's upcoming Pure, an off-road racing game for the Xbox 360, PS3, and the PC. It's slated to be released in Autumn of 2008.

Developed by Black Rock Studio, an England-based development studio of Disney Interactive Studios, Pure aims to give thrill seekers that special buzz. Pure will be taking quad racing to different heights because of its different features, massive jumps and incredible airborne tricks.

Players can choose from a variety of male and female avatars and test their skills against A.I. opponents or against online players, which is up to 16 players in total.

With this upcoming game, Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing of Disney Interactive Studios, said:

We expect Pure to set a new standard for off-road racing that delivers adrenaline-inducing vertical experiences with spectacular aerial tricks and intense wheel-to-wheel racing.

Pure will appeal to a wide audience based on the game’s jaw-dropping aerial tricks, breakneck racing and vast environments.

Since there's still time before the game is released, why not check out the screenshots we have for you. In the meantime, be sure to pop in to our site every now and then because we'll be dishing out the latest news on this game.
