Blue Dragon getting a brother - Image 1

IGN cites Gpara's hints that Hironobu Sakaguchi's interests in taking the Blue Dragon sequel online aren't just academic anymore. Sakaguchi tells Gpara that Mistwalker is "in talks with Microsoft about development of a sequel. Specifics aren't finalized, but there's a possibility that it will be produced as an online title."

This should make things interesting. Multiplayer components? MMORPG? Who knows the path Mistwalker and Blue Dragon will take to establish its identity in the Land of RPGs?
