Alicia of Atari's Bullet Witch - Image 1We're hoping that when Major Nelson updates his blog, he would finally shed some light to the rumor we reported earlier about a supposed upcoming BioShock demo. Well, he did update his site but it's about Atari's Bullet Witch. It's not what we prayed for but hey, at least we get some new Alicia goodies.

Bullet Witch fans can now log on to Xbox Live and get Alicia her new Pixie costume for free. This is available for all regions except in Asia. The following content are also already available in all other territories:
  • Geist Search and Destroy (20 Points): Defeat the 50 hidden Geists within 30 minutes.
  • The Bound Soul Extra Edition (20 Points): Reach the deepest part of the forest where the ritual took place.
  • The Bound Soul Great spells unlocked (20 Points): The restrictions on all great magic spells have been unlocked.
  • he End of Chaos Great spells unlocked (20 Points): The restrictions on all great magic spells have been unlocked.
Ever since Bullet Witch was released back in February, Atari made sure that fans keep on playing the game by constantly providing new content for it. In the past, there have been downloadable content for new missions as well as new smoking-hot costumes.

Alicia of Bullet Witch - Image 1

As promised, here now are the additional in-game content for Atari's video game, Bullet Witch. We're sure all you Alicia fans out there would want to check this out over at Xbox Live, especially since the missions here would definitely enhance your gaming experience.

Like the previous downloadable content, the new missions can be had for only 20 points. There's the Caterpillar City where you'll have to exterminate Worm Men keeping you from getting to the goal area. Then there's Endless where you will be attacked and derailed by "an endless stream of Geists." To win over them, you'd have to find their source and destroy the Mother Geist.

There's also the City of Screams Extra Edition, which will be housing a new version of the City of Screams stage. Of course, you'll also find some more great spells unlocked in City of Screams. Then, it's time for Alicia to change costumes. If you want to give her something more tight-fitting than the White Witch costume (although I don't think anyone's got a problem with her costumes, so far), then grab Mummy costume. Hey, so she'll be forced to fight all wrapped up in bandage, but it's free!

This in-game pack for Bullet Witch is now up and available over at Xbox Live for all territories except Asia.

Latest Bullet Witch assets over at XBLM - Image 1Latest Bullet Witch assets over at XBLM - Image 2

Yesterday was a B-E-A-utiful day for Bullet Witch and Alicia fanatics. We reported that several new in-game content, including costumes and missions, are currently available for download over at Xbox Live Marketplace (XBLM). The new missions can be obtained for just 20 MS points while the costumes are for free.

But today is a great day for fans of this action-adventure video game. Atari decided to give everyone a glimpse of how the download looks like with these new screenshots and renders, as if the name Alicia and "for free" tags are not enough to get everyone to download.

Bullet Witch hit retail stores back in February 28. Prior to this, some fans were wondering if the game was worth the money or not. But good marketing, including a free Bullet Witch comic book that comes with the pre-order, eventually turned the video game into one of the more anticipated titles for 2007.

Anyway, enough yadda. We present you the Bullet Witch Alicia - fashionable and deadly as always.

Atari's Bullet Witch gets new downloadable content - Image 1

The game Bullet Witch for the Xbox 360 by Atari is an action-adventure game which has been receiving some attention lately.  Launched last February 28, the game was received relatively well by the gaming community. Now, there's more to rave about as new content for the game has been released in the Xbox Live Marketplace and will continue to be released for the next few weeks.

The offered downloads include a costume change for Alicia, a brand new mission, as well as two enhanced missions. The new costume is called "White Witch" and is free to download. At 20 MS points, a new mission called "Dynamite Beauty" can be bought. The two other downloads are enhanced versions of the "Clad in Streaming Black" mission. One has "Great Spells" unlocked while the other has a higher difficulty level. You can obtain both for 20 MS points each.

For those who can't get enough of Bullet Witch and its heroine Alicia, more new costumes (which will be free of charge) and new missions (for 20 MS points each) will be available in the coming weeks. Check out some of the screenshots and videos to see if you'd like to play dress-up with Alicia.

Alicia Claus is hot. Actually, more like HOT. OMG, I'm a geek raving about a videogame heroine! Oh noes! Anyway, check out the new Bullet Witch screenshots below and revel in the hotness.

Atari's Xbox 360 title Bullet Witch (which has actually just launched in the U.S.) is set in 2013. The game tells the story of a desperate fight between man - who is on the verge of extinction - and demons. Players take on the role of a witch named Alicia and run headlong into an action-packed adventure with story sequences intermixed with vicious gunfights and awesome magic.

The game's tagline says it all, really:
"Powerful Magic. Massive Guns. Extreme Destruction." Just the way we like it. Bullet Witch is, like we mentioned earlier, already out in the U.S. The game is slated for a March 7 release in Australia.

More screenshots after the jump!

Bullet Witch Alicia - Image 1The moment we saw Bullet Witch Alicia, we immediately fell in love with her. Some have commented that she is a rather weak witch, with just a handful of magic spells, but she really is beautiful.

With that said, we are happy to announce that the game has finally shipped to retailers across North America.

We know we've already discussed the different features of the Bullet Witch before, but we'll outline a few details for the benefit of newcomers. The game takes place in the year 2013. Humankind is on the brink of extinction, and demons are creating havoc everywhere. The last hope rests with Alicia and her magical skills, not to mention her swift trigger finger.

It's understandable that Atari Product Manager Jeremiah Cohn is quite excited:

Cavia has designed a game that offers all the successful elements of a next-gen title including sophisticated weaponry, destructible environments, downloadable bonus content coupled with a captivating storyline that bring gamers an extremely intense and exciting game.

Bullet Witch is rated M and can be purchased for a suggested retail price of US$ 49.99. Details about a post-launch downloadable content at the Marketplace should be expected shortly.

Yes, clothing matters in games. No, this isn't a pig headed chauvinistic thing. Although us males will admit to the fact that we love seeing Alicia in various revealing outfits, we like to think that it won't just be the folks with testosterone that will appreciate the many costume changes in Atari's Bullet Witch. Who do you think buys all those virtual clothing for sale on Second Life.

Below is Alicia in her varied apparel. Enjoy, whatever you orientation may be.

Judging from the video, it seems that the US version was able to slightly tweak the reported twitchy problems and framerate slowdowns found in the Japanese version. That's a good thing right? Smoother graphics for better ogle opportunities.

We all know by now that the Alicia-starrer, Xbox 360 game from Atari, Bullet Witch, has gone gold, and that it'll soon storm towards U.S. store shelves (February 27). So what other new things could we say about this game that you haven't seen or heard of yet? Well, going over YouTube, we found a Bullet Witch environment video which shows Alicia kicking some butts in the Mountain Valley. Check out the vid right here:

Anyhow, as we've said earlier, there are only eight days to go before the game conquers U.S. store shelves. The game has already been out in Japan since August and it has a March 16 release date for Australia. Also, tell us what you think about the game and the vid in the comments section.

Atari - Image 1Atari has revealed the three games it will be showcasing in the NY Second Annual Comic Con 2007 that will be held on February 23 to 25 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. The three games are Godzilla: Unleashed for the Wii, Bullet Witch for the Xbox 360, and Dragonball Z Shin Budokai : Another Road for the PSP, which will all be available for purchase at kiosks throughout the convention.

Godzilla: Unleashed, set to be released Q3 2007, is one of the most anticipated games for Wii. We're still waiting to see though how the control system for the Wii will affect the gameplay. The storyline in itself is pretty vanilla "Destroy other monsters and save the world". Despite this, Atari has promised the story will be non-linear. Destructible cityscapes and large buildings will be in abundance, so we wait with baited breath for it's release.

Bullet Witch for the 360 is an adventure game which will be released in North America on February 27 for US $ 49.99. It is set in a neo-apocalyptic world where magic and guns go hand-in-hand. An advanced physics engine will be there to handle the game's monsters and destroyable environments. This is definitely a game to look out for.

DBZ Budokai: Another Road for the PSP (to be released March 2007) is an intense action game which promises to deliver more exciting matches than it's previous iteration. The fighting system has been improved and a whopping 50 new moves and super moves have been added to the mix. A brand new story line which follows the exploits of Trunks and his rival Majin Boo is included as well.

If you happen to be in the Comic Con and wish to find the booths, you can find Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road at Room 1E03, Bullet Witch at the Lobby Booth, and Godzilla: Unleashed will be shown at Classic Media Booth, #765. More news to come as it's released.

Bullet Witch, aka, Alicia's Game - Image 1

If you're one of the people who have been smitten with the charms of Bullet Witch's heroine, Alicia, take heart as she's set to grace your Xbox 360 soon. Fans won't be disappointed as Atari has just announced that the title has gone gold, and it's bound to be released on February 27. And everything is going as scheduled.

Developed by Japan-based game developer">Cavia Inc., this action game is set in the year 2013 when the world has just suffered major natural disasters, and to top it all off is an invading force of demons. In comes Alicia, gun-ablazing (yes, "gun", as in singular) and her quest to rid the world of the forces of evil.

Though some may complain that the game is old (it HAS been out in Japan since July 2006), you gotta admit that it's hard to resist a pretty girl with a weapon that transforms into various types of firearms.
