Burnout Paradise - Image 1 Criterion Games and Electronic Arts must be laughing all the way to the bank now, or rather, cruising while laughing, as their hot new racing title attracts hordes of fans to retail. 1 million fans, to be exact.

Yep, news has broken that Burnout Paradise (PS3, Xbox 360) has hit the millionth sales mark worldwide since its release in January this year. This open world racing game was just reported to have gotten 50,000 gamers online last month, and apparently, it was but a mere hint of more big things to come.

And it looks like Criterion isn't about to stop at that, especially now that they have confirmed the 1080i support for the PS3 version. If you haven't joined in on the ride, maybe you should get moving now. As for us, we'll be keeping you posted on more updates on this game.
