Tatsunoko VS Capcom - Image 1

Capcom has no plans of making a PS3 or Xbox 360 version of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, but a sequel could potentially make its way onto the Sony and Microsoft consoles. This was mentioned by a Capcom producer in an interview with VideoGamer.

“The game is optimised for the Wii system, especially the graphics features, so if we were to port it to PS3 or Xbox 360 we would have to make the game from scratch, and in that case we might as well just make a sequel of the series on those consoles rather than porting it,” said producer Ryota Niitsuma.

Note that this doesn't mean that they're already making a sequel. Niitsuma also intimated that a PS3 and Xbox 360 outing for the Wii and arcade fighting game is also heavily dependent on how the game is received in the western market. If you really want to see Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on your PS3 or Xbox 360, better go find a Wii owner and convince him to buy it once it's out this winter.
