It's been a while since we heard something new from developer The Behemoth regarding the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) video game Castle Crashers. It won last year's GDC Audience Choice award but was pushed back to this year. Anyway, it's a good thing that The Behemoth has just updated its developer's blog and released a couple of new information about this exciting beat 'em up multiplayer. The information tackles the different weapons as well as a new playable character. About the weapons in Castle Crashers, it was revealed that there will be a total of 40 different implements of death available to gamers. The Behemoth further discussed this: Spread out throughout the game, you will have many different ways of unlocking over 40 different weapon types! We have shops that you can purchase weapons at, treasure chests you can break, buried weapons, weapons from bosses. Aside from that, the developer also talked about a new character that looks like a periwinkle knight and has been named "Dude" by The Behemoth. The lack of names in their games was also explained: We never intended for our characters to have names. A quote from Dan Paladin, “It’s more fun when the characters don’t have a name because then you can inject your own personality into the characters.” If you want to know more about these, you can refer to our source link below. It should take you to the official developer's blog for Castle Crashers. |
