GameTrailers yields more Xbox 360 and PC gaming gold with the latest trailer for Artificial Studios' and Immersion Software & Graphic's video game, CellFactor: Revolution. The one-and-a-half minute of eye candy pretty much confirms that during play, you'll be able to do pretty much anything with your psychic powers, such as create devastating tremors, increase your speed - and this is a favorite of yours truly - throw heavy stuff around and hit people with 'em. No news if you'll be able to kill yaks from a distance with mind bullets just yet, but so far, the things you're capable of with your powers looks pretty sweet.
Don't take our word for it, though. Watch the trailer and see for yourself! |

The game CellFactor, in which you play a soldier called Dante Aligheiri who has command over a small tactical unit called G.U.A.R.D., underwent a tiny change of title. The game will be called CellFactor: Revolution starting today. Aside from this name change developer Immersion Software & Graphics also released 4 new screenshots today. CellFactor: Revolution, known for its use of the alleged revolutionary AGEIA PhysX chip, is planned for release in the end of this year for Xbox 360 and PC. We've got you covered with more information as it's released.

Making use of Ageia's PhysX processor chip, Immersion Studios' CellFactor is touted as "not your average FPS". If you have doubts regarding this, maybe you'd like to try out the latest Cellfactor Beta R36 Demo (thanks for the tip, C4PT Birdsye!). To run the demo on a mid to low graphics setting, you'll be needing the Ageia PhysX Accelerator, an AMD Athlon 64 or higher or Intel Pentium 4 2.5 GHz, 1 GB System Memory, Shader Model 3.0 Graphics Card with 256MB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 6800 or better, and ATI RADEON X800 256MB. But if you want to experience this upcoming game in its full glory, the following system requirements are needed:
If you meet any of the system requirements and are dying to see how CellFactor plays out, feel free to give the demo (download below) a go. Have fun! Download: [CellFactor R36 Beta Demo] |

![]() Cellfactor is a title set around a technological storyline where one side in an ongoing war have psychic powers, whilst the other does not. The psychic power-deprived soldiers later on found out that they can copy the abilities of the psychic soldiers with the aid of technology (ain't technology grand). This preview tends to suggest that whereas titles such as Psi Ops and Second Sight were extremely limited when it came to the use of telekenisis and other mind force trickery, the upcoming title Cellfactor may take things to the next level. Said to be "not just your average FPS" by the previewer, you can allegedly fly and hover whilst shooting, all by using your characters psychic powers. The title uses Artificial Studio’s Reality engine and features some astounding graphics, all this and it's said to be over a year away from hitting store shelves. It's one of the first titles to "make proper use of Ageia’s PhysX physics processor chip", which means there can allegedly be "thousands of objects on screen at once." This blogger is going to hold off with inane pandering to the title until it's actually seen in action in the finished format, but it is looking interesting to say the least. |
