Colin McRae: DiRT 2 - Image 1

September is the month to watch if you're a fan of high-octane racing. Codemasters has sent out word announcing the official release dates for the console and handheld versions of Colin McRae: DiRT 2.

Gamers in the US will be the first to get their hands on DiRT 2 thanks to the game's September 8. Europe, Asia, and Canada will see a September 10 launch while the UK gets it a day later on September 11.

The dates above are for the game's Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS and PSP versions. PC gamers will have to wait a while longer as the PC version still doesn't have a final launch date. You can blame DirectX 11 for that.

 » Hmmm.

I really hope the psp version is good. Most psp versions of home console games are rubbish. E.g. NFS prostreet.

Not sure if you're into knowing about the world and all... but Canada is in North America... and so is Mexico. USA doesn't make up all of North America... even though many of you [americans] may think like that, it just isn't true.

So writing

"Gamers in North America will be the first to get their hands on DiRT 2 thanks to the game's September 8. Europe, Asia, and Canada will see a September 10"

is just silly. Strike out that North Sir.
