Good news for people who like their goosebumps getting goosebumps! EA has announced that Dead Space (PS3, Xbox 360) has gone gold and is now just waiting for its release date to come.

The game will be released on October 14 for North America, and on October 24 for the UK. No word on what's going to happen for the game in Japan, Germany, and China though.

Heads up to UK gamers who are planning to get the game. You might want to get a pre-order, as you'll get a platform-exclusive suit. Well, it's the same trash can suit, only sporting the colors of your platform. Xbox 360 gamers get the Elite Suit which glows a nice healthy green, and PlayStation 3 gamers get the Obsidian suit, which has a cool indigo theme going.

No word on whether these suits will be available for other regions though, but the US will get a limited run of 1000 copies of the game's Ultra Limited Edition for the Xbox 360, which contains the Downfall Animated Movie on DVD, bonus content, a 97-page art book, an Ishimura crew patch, and the 160-page graphic novel that has all six issues of the Dead Space comic, signed by the illustrator, Ben Templesmith. You can get the Ultra Limited Edition by ordering it through the EA Store.
