Electronic's original IP Dead Space (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
was most certainly alive and kicking in sales as the figures have been
revealed, after being released on multiplatforms (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC)
late last year. In total, the game's raked in 1.4 million copies. With
this success rate, is it likely that we'll be seeing to other platforms? |

Electronic Arts is still running with the Dead Space (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) -got-banned-in-three-countries
storyline in the January issue of Game Informer. The difference in the
dialogue, however, is that while Germany did intend to ban, they
apparently "came around" eventually and let the game pass through. As
for Japan, he cites a very vague "cultural difference" as the reason, while the
China/ Korea "ban" was left untouched. See Schofield play the consistency card in the full article. |

Looks like the problems that plagued Fable II's Limited Collector's Edition didn't stop it from becoming a best seller. The game debuted on top spot in the UK, with Far Cry II having to settle for second best. UK gamers doesn't seem to like survival-horror though - Dead Space only debuted at 6th place. What are the top games in the UK? Check them out after the link. |

Looks like EA is living up to its tradition of sequels. Better be thankful they didn't continue their tradition of boring (to say the least) titles. Like Mirror's Edge, a couple more of their games have sequels in the works, namely Army of Two, Battlefield: Bad Company and Dead Space. |
