Microsoft's out to make sure your Christmas is just a tad more greener and redder with these two great deals for Xbox Live Members. Starting this week, MS will be jumpstarting two global 30-day special deals on select XBL content, as well as free multiplayer for several games.

Here's what you have to look out for. Every week, one piece of content from XBLM will be hailed as the chosen Deal of the Week. Basically, this will give you a limited-time only discount, but do take note that you must be a Gold member in order to have access to this.

If you are, however, a Silver member and can't afford just yet that US$ 4/month tag price of Gold membership, then don't worry, cos you'll also get something free as well via the Friendship is Free deal: multiplayer trials. For the duration of the month-long deal, all XBL members will have access to muultiplayer mode for XBL Arcade games.
