The 6th Annual Video Game Awards of Spike TV is about to kick off next month, and we've got the list of nominees for this one. Cross your fingers tight and wish your personal fave bets good luck.

This years Awards will be a 2-hour extravaganza premiering live on Spike TV on December 14 (Sunday) at 9:00PM, ET/PT (tape delay west coast) straight form Sony Picture Studios in Culver, City, CA.

Entertainment is well-taken cared of as well with mutli-platinum selling hip-hop artist (and game owner himself) 50 Cent performing his brand new single, "Get Up", off his fourth major label album, Before I Self Destruct. Accompanying his performance would be exclusive video and choreography from his game, 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand.

Also to be honored in the Awards Night is Sims and Spore creator Will Wright, with the Gamer God award for his groundbreaking achievements in the industry.

You'd also want to catch Spike TV's presentatino of TNA: iMPACT! with GameTrailers TV host Goeff Keighley tonight at 9:00PM. The additional categories and breaking news for the VGA will be announced live at 10:15PM.
