Doug Lombardi: Valve open to discussions on Left 4 Dead PS3 port - Image 1

If you guys got disappointed or upset on Valve's announcement that it won't be porting its game, Left 4 Dead(Xbox 360, PC), for Sony's PlayStation 3 console, we'll here's some good news that may make your day.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Doug Lombardi sat down for a short interview regarding his thoughts on the current issue of the game not being ported over to the PS3. When he was asked about the development of it, Lombardi replied that it's still "up in the air," because it hasn't even reached development yet.

Now, if the game was to be developed, it would be handled by a third party since Valve focuses on the PC and just got its Xbox 360 team together. It would really boil down to the fact which system people preferred playing it on.

Lombardi added that, "If folks want to do a PS3 version, we're open to talk with third parties about that." This is certainly an interesting turn of events regarding their company's stand earlier on the game.

As always, we'll keep you guys posted on more updates!
