Online Co-op confirmed for Fable 2 - Image 1

Over at the Microsoft presentation at E3, we've just learned some new bits of information regarding Fable 2. First off, Peter Molyneux himself announced that the game is finished, receiving applause for that brief announcement.

Molyneux continued on with a brief demonstration of Fable 2, confirming rumors of an online cooperative play option. According to this new scheme, there won't be a menu, per se, so much as a variety of purple orbs representing your friends playing the game. You can walk up to an orb and press a button, which will allow you to play cooperatively with said friend.

Lastly, it was announced that the game would hitting store shelves this October, which is definitely good news for RPG fans. Stay tuned to QJ for more updates from the Microsoft presentation.

"Learn more about the fabled online co-op function for the game and the release date of Fable 2 after the jump!"
Doesn't mean they have the exact date, it means you can 'learn more' about when it's coming out
