Xbox Live logo - Image 1Reports about a major deal between Microsoft and Netflix have started circulating the Internet since last year, and now both companies have formally announced their partnership during the recent E3 event. What can we expect from their collaboration? As hinted in the previous articles, Netflix will provide streaming video through the Xbox 360.

The process of getting Netflix movies streamed to your Xbox is pretty simple: go to the Netflix website, add your favorite shows (movies, or TV episodes) to the queue, and the chosen features will automatically be streamed to your TV through the Xbox 360 after a short 30-second wait.

Xbox Live Gold members will enjoy some perks such as being able to fast-forward, pause, rewind, and even rate and browse movies. The service will be available starting this fall, along with the rest of the Fall Xbox Live system update.
