Guitar Hero Activision - Image 1Now here's something that may interest those who play both Guitar Hero and Rock Band games: according to Activision, the Xbox 360 version of is Guitar Hero: World Tour (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii), also known as Guitar Hero 4, is compatible with Rock Band instruments.

It's most certainly a nice move. Those who follow the industry news concerning both Activision's Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PlayStation 3) and Harmonix's Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii) know that the developers of both games had a small tiff with each other involving controller compatibility.

But how about the controllers for the other versions? There are no updates concerning controller compatibility between all Guitar Hero and Rock Band titles for the other consoles, but it's best to wait for any further developments. Stay tuned!

» but I want RB controller to work with GH, GH2, GH3...

I just got it for PS2. My GH1 wired guitar works for all games in PS2. RB guitar only works in RB...oh well, too bad it was only the PS2 version on sale for $99... not wii or 360.
