Naruto: The Broken Bond - Image 1At E3 2008, Ubisoft has announced that gamers will be getting a new Naruto game for the Xbox 360 by Christmas this year. The sequel to Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, Naruto: The Broken Bond has players on a quest to save Sasuke from Orochimaru, who seduced the young ninja with promises of power.

Like Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, the game is said to feature an online multiplayer mode which allows players to play against each other over Xbox Live. Christian Salomon, vice president of worldwide licensing at Ubisoft spoke about this game saying that:

We’re excited to continue in the Naruto: Rise of a Ninja tradition, boasting the only video game in the franchise that features an online multiplayer mode that lets players compete against their friends in tournaments over the Xbox LIVE, online entertainment network, and also gives players the opportunity to relive genuine moments of the anime, while exploring the open universe of Naruto.

That said, we're sure Naruto fans will probably be very excited at this news. Hopefully, the game will let gamers experience that classic fight scene between Sasuke and Naruto (you know, the one when Sasuke was leaving and Naruto wanted to stop him).
