ESRB listing for Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge - Image 1

Command & Conquer 4 may be PC-only, but it looks like Electronic Arts may have some C&C goodness in store for console gamers as well. A listing for a PS3 and Xbox 360 title called Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Commander's Challenge has recently popped up on the ESRB website.

The listing doesn't give out any hard details, describing the game only as "a real-time strategy game (RTS) in which players control different factions vying for global supremacy in the wake of global war and occupation," but a hint may lie in the PC version of Red Alert 3.

See, "Commander's Challenge" was a mode included in the PC exclusive Uprising expansion for Red Alert 3. It had players fight through 50 unique and successively tougher scenarios and included a few new commanders and some campaign-only units. Perhaps this is a console version of Uprising. We'll keep you updated with any new developments.

Could this be where we'll see Yuri make a return? I'm hoping so.

Why was RA2 never released on a console, I would have much preferred it to all the later C&Cs.
