Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe - Image 1

You've heard the rumors: "No fatalities in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe". Ed Boon, the Mortal Kombat series' co-creator, says that's not true.

"There was never any statement on our part that fatalities will be gone or that finishing moves will be gone," said Boon in an interview with GameTap. Boon did add, however, that the level of violence will be toned down.

Boon went on to say that while finishers involving, say, pulling people's heads off complete with spine attached will most likely not be in the game, Midway intends to push the envelope of a T-rated game without crossing over to an M rating.
