UEFA Euro 2008 logo - Image 1Those who enjoyed UEFA 2007 Champions League (PC, Xbox 360, PSP) should know that Electronic Arts has announced the Europe release date for UEFA Euro 2008.

The game will become available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PC, and Mobile Phones on April 11, 2008.

UEFA Euro 2008 improves on the previous UEFA video games by adding new modes such as Captain Your Country and Battle of the Nations. UEFA Euro 2008 lead designer Simon Humber spoke about this:

Our game, UEFA Euro 2008, celebrates the passion fans have for their national teams by capturing all of the national rivalries in-game, and enabling you to captain your country or play as your heroes and inspire them to glory.

We have taken our football engine to another level and added innovative new features to create a videogame that captures and simulates the real-world experience and all the emotion of this tournament.

So football fans out there better lace up their shoes and get ready to hit the pitch because UEFA Euro 2008 is coming soon.
