Streetfighter 4 - Image 1

Capcom cleared the air today on some mistaken notions concerning certain UK release dates that have been floating around. Specifically, those of Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) and Bionic Commando.

MCV recently reported that Street Fighter IV will be hitting shelves by February 20 of next year and Bionic Commando by February 13. The news has since snowballed and gotten everyone rather excited (including us, as evidenced by yesterday's article on the same).

Unfortunately, the dates were apparently just a list of retail guides rather than actual game launch dates. Capcom clarified that the launch dates were still officially unconfirmed. In case you're wondering, a retail guide is something like a forecast. And a very optimistic one from the look of it.

Capcom also noted that a Resident Evil 5 PC version, which was reported to launch alongside the 360 and PS3 versions, has not yet even been announced to appear on the PC at all, let alone be available for the March 13 launch day. Poop.
