Harmonix's Rock Band for PS3, Xbox 360 - Image 1If you somehow find the soundtrack of Harmonix's Rock Band (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) a little too "American" for your tastes, then perhaps you shouldn't be quick to judge its selection of available songs.

In a recent post on Shacknews, MTV Games has confirmed that the new tracks found on the European version of the game will be released in North America as downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 iterations.

The UK release of Rock Band will include these new songs which will eventually find themselves on the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network:
  • Blur "Beetlebum" (English)
  • Oasis "Rock 'n' Roll Star" (English)
  • Tokio Hotel "Monsoon" (English)
  • Muse "Hysteria" (English)
  • Les Wampas "Manu Chao" (French)
  • Playmo "New Wave" (French)
  • Die Toten Hosen "Hier Kommt Alex" (German)
  • Juli "Perfekte Welle" (German)
  • H-Block X "Countdown to Insanity" (German)
There's been no pricing details regarding the new songs so far, although this may soon be revealed once the European version of Rock Band hits retail stores this May 22. We'll be sure to keep an eye out for more updates on this, so keep coming back to this spot for more Rock Band tidbits.

Definitely get Hysteria by Muse. The bass alone makes it worthwhile.
