Harker - Image 1Over a year ago, we've heard of a not-so-mysterious video game based on Jonathan Harker who should be familiar to fans of Dracula. With trailers and screenshots released by developer The Collective, Harker (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii) seemed ready for us to consume. However, Foundation 9 reportedly sent word saying the game is in indefinite hold.

According to Eurogamer, the company formed by The Collective and Backbone Entertainment revealed the team behind Harker signed up as Double Helix to create Silent Hill 5 (PS3, Xbox 360) for Konami. Consequently, devs dropped  the promising Harker title to free up for the other survival horror project.

From what we've seen before, Harker could've been the most visceral shot at Count Dracula as players fill the role of an angry guy looking for revenge. Being in "indefinite hold" status often means cancellation in games, but we'll have to wait for official word from Foundation 9 before nailing the coffin.
