It's been a month since Epic Games officially announced Gears of War 2 at the 2008 Game Developers Conference. However, some of you might still get a kick out of seeing the actual footage of the event which was just released by GameTrailers.

After announcing GoW 2, they also showed off some of the improvements to the Unreal Engine 3. A copy of this video was released before, but it was fuzzy and incomplete, so we're reposting the official footage taken from the event which was also just released.

It's worth a see to watch the official footage of the Unreal Engine 3 demo, since the previous video wasn't able to include parts of the event. Here you'll be able to watch the Engine's improvements in soft body physics, destructible environments, and more.

Here are the videos (which are also available for download on Xbox Live by the way). The first one shows off the actual announcement of Gears of War 2. The second video shows the part of the even where they demoed the Unreal Engine 3.:
