It's pretty simple, really. Grand Theft Auto IV on the PS3 and Xbox 360 has been announced to be delayed. Now while the UK PlayStation site recently updated itself with an October 2007 release for GTA4, lots of people have indeed become suspicious of it.

Maybe it was all just some form of human input error of the site - at least that's what most of everyone's comments pointed out.

Safe to say, the rumor is debunked. SPOnG was able to contact Rockstar themselves and asked about this October release date. The only response, short and succinct as it can be, was a "It's coming out in Spring next year." Which is right about the same time as it was scheduled to come out, after its delay was announced anyways.

Rumor cleared. Move along now. We still got a ways to wait.
