Assassin’s Creed II is quickly shaping up to be one of the year's blockbuster releases. We're just days away from launch, but for those of you who still hunger for more info on the game, here's a video interview with lead game designer Patrick Plourde.
One good thing that Plourde reveals is that those who didn't play the original are being given a chance to catch up with a recap of Altair's adventures. There's also some background info in there about PSP and PS3 interoperability as well as a quick estimate of how long Assassin's Creed II will be (the main story is around 20 to 30 hours). Oh, at the end of the video, they also ask a question for Ubisoft and Sony's Live By The Creed contest, so if you want to enter check it out. Assassin’s Creed II will launch on November 17 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The PSP title, Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, will launch on the same day. Related articles:

I never believe game length times anymore. Everyone plays differently, so it's really hard to judge. Then again 20-30 hours sure does leave a lot of middle-man time to be right.
