Epic Games' design director Cliff Bleszinski has revealed that squad ordering, one of the features in the original Gears of War (also available on PC) has been removed from Gears of War 2. In addition, he also gave out a few more details about this upcoming game.

He pointed out that the squad ordering in the first game wasn't really "leveraged" as much. He further added that since the game isn't really "a Full Spectrum Warrior RTS type of experience" they just removed it.
