Gears of War 2 - Image 1

There's definitely no stopping Gears of War 2 from taking over the Xbox 360. Not content with selling two million units in its opening weekend alone, Epic Games has announced that they have now surpassed the three million-mark as of last week.

This was revealed by Epic's VP, Mark Rein, via email. He said, "Microsoft [the game's publisher] confirmed to me this afternoon that Gears of War 2 sell-through surpassed 3 million units as of last week."

GoW2 has only been released just last month, November 7th, and also dominated the Xbox Live activity for the past couple of weeks.
