Goldeneye XBL petition ongoing - Image 1A petition for the re-release of Goldeneye 007 game for the Xbox 360 has been made as a response to the disagreement of both Microsoft and Nintendo, which resulted in the shelving of  of the said game's production.

Even though with the tremendous popularity that Goldeneye 007 has achieved on the N64, plans of it being playable on Xbox Live has been stopped because Microsoft and Nintendo couldn't agree on how they would be able to split to profits of the game.

As of writing, a total of 9,381 folks have given their signatures in order to save the game. If you want to help with the online petition, head on over to the source link below.

» Same result as last petition

I wonder if this will result in the same conclusion as the petition that was sent to Capcom for a Resident Evil PSP game. The result was Capcom deciding to do a Resident Evil PSP game. I would love to reown this title again.

If Nintendo doesn't get 90% of the profits, you aren't going to see this game on XBOX live arcade. It's just the way they are.
