Zoids Assault gets pushed back to September - Image 1

We've got some good news and bad news for you today. The bad news is that a recent press wire we've received has announced a delay for Atlus' Zoids Assault. The good news is that they've sent over some new screenshots as well to tide us over.

In a rather lighthearted press release, Aram Jabbari, Atlus' Assistant Manager of Sales and PR, announced that the game would "slip out of late August and into early September - the 9th to be exact." It's disheartening news, especially since we've not really heard much about the game, but we're glad to know they're being nice about it.

In any event, we do have six new screens for the game. As to be expected, you get to control a party of zoids as they go out to war. According to the official website, you'll be able to play as the Mace Squad, a group of veteran zoid pilots who are tasked with escorting a special ops team known as Katana into enemy territory.

Enjoy the screenshots we have for you, and expect more information to come your way as the game gets closer to release.
