Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC Named And Dated - Image 1

Move over Niko Bellic, there's a new bad ass in town. Meet Johnny Klebitz, a member of Liberty City's biker gang, The Lost. He'll be the star of the upcoming DLC for Grand Theft Auto IV, which Rockstar Games has revealed to be named The Lost and The Damned. Not only that, but they gave a date as well: expect the DLC to arrive on February 17.

While Rockstar's Dan Houser doesn't give away much of the story's details, he does give a few hints about what to expect:

Johnny is a very different character than Niko, with a very different background. I can't go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City.

The story is not directly impacted by decisions you took in the main game, [but] tons of details and mysteries from the main story get explained, so it will add a lot of color to the main story.

Reportedly, the DLC will provide hours of gameplay, and will add new stages, weapons and costumes. No price was given yet, but analyst Michael Pachter expects it to have a US$ 20 price tag, and could sell 2 to 3 million downloads.

 » Well then..

This is not what i expected at all. I don't really want this kind of DLC but I hope others enjoy it.
I was expected them to add another safe house, more television channels, clothes and maybe some cars.
Oh well.

 » You're weird

I'd much rather have story-based DLC than that stuff

Besides they said a long time ago it would be story DLC, don't know why you were expecting something else...

 » Actually..

This is awesome......

I'd take this over some safe houses and cars any day.

Plus nobody said there won't be new safe houses and cars :-).

» unfortunately i agree, if it wasnt for the super real way the developed the human ragdoll ness and a few other awesomenessess this game wpuld have been bad, the only thing it lacks is the vastness that san andreas held, and i blame xbox, let spray either

hott i just typed out a crap load and realized it was in the subject, i dont feel like typing it again, damn ps3's lack of copy/paste

 » Fade3e actually..

In my opinion GtA 4 makes much better use of its space compared to San Andreas.

Yeah San Andreas was huge, but a lot of it was just land you couldn't really do much in.

In fact I'll even say San Andreas was a waste of space.
