Logo of British Board of Film Censors - Image 1It looks like the British Board of Film Classification gave everyone an accidental sneak peek at some of the more naughty features players can expect to see in Rockstar Games' upcoming Grand Theft Auto 4 (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3).

The information posted on the BBFC site explained the game's general theme and description, as well as revealed some of the more in-depth features which will make it once GTA 4 goes live. However, the information posted was recently removed due to a breach in the organization's policy.

The BBFC explained that it had to take down the published information because of a policy of releasing the Extended Classification Information (ECI) for any game title more than 10 days before its scheduled release date. It was mentioned that the ECI will go back up on the BBFC website on April 19, in line with GTA 4's April 29 release date.

To give you an idea of how hardcore the upcoming title will be, here's an excerpt of the deleted publishing information put up by the BBFC:

Sex references also occur during cut scenes, including references to strong sexual behaviour. During gameplay the character can pick up prostitutes and pay for three different levels of service. What follows is an un-detailed portrayal of masturbation, fellatio and intercourse. The character can also visit lap dancing clubs and request a private dance. While the game contains sexualised dancing and the portrayal of sex, there is no sexualised nudity.

I wonder if there is going to be a "hot coffee" exploit in this game as their was in San Andreas. All this hype for this game is driving me crazy. I don't know how much long I can wait. I guess in the mean time, I will play San Andreas upscaled on my PS3.

 » No.

I can guarantee there will not be another exploit in gta4. Rockstar was put under a great deal of pressure for that incident and jeopardized their entire GTA franchise, they wouldn't be stupid enough to do that again.

that's too far. im all for free speech, but this sort of thing is unnecessary and is actually driving me away. i dont want to be playing this and have that sort of scene come on while my family is in the room. i know the prostitution is optional, but the trailer showed a strip club, and i hope it's not part of a mission.

Playing GTA, the one thing your worried about your family seeing is you being in a strip bar in a game?

Prostitution and strip bars. How much of that do you think will be in the game without your choice to go and participate in such activities?

Honestly, prob none. I guarantee you there won't be a mission entitled "Slurpin down the sausage" or sum dumb sh*t like that.

What do you think this game is about? Why is this a shocker to you? It's whats expected in this type of game, movie or book. If you can't take the heat, don't gripe and moan about the entertainment then.

"You can't exactly call you a smart person, because you never was."

I'll correct your english since you are so smart. It should say:

"You can't exactly be called a smart person, because you never were."

And a sex mini game too.

Still, this one is looking like a hot cofee without any mods, lol. I suppose they thought that they'll get "M" rated anyway, so they could as well do the max. Even if it's not the max since there is no nudity. Bah, maybe in GTA5? lol

...why would they describe it as masturbation? Masturbation is do-it-yourself. The three services are obviously HJ, BJ, and humpty hump.

 » Hey Spicey...

Have your ever palyed a GTA game In Vice City you had missions at strip clubs. You even "gasp" could buy them. What does your family think of you shooting people, killing policemen, and selling drugs. But it's cool as long as they don't see your game character in a strip club.
