Grand Theft Auto 5? - Image 1"I would expect there would be two more pieces of downloadable content for GTA IV (Xbox 360, PS3), that's what  has been indicated to me, although formats are unsure," he said. "It's been indicated to me that would be the case." Apart from that, he is also of the belief that a Part 5 will be coming to join the franchise sometime in the 2011 fiscal year, as well as a possible new GTA title for the PS2 as early as next year.

GTA IV - Image 1An MMO GTA? Can you imagine that? Janco Partners is certainly imagining it as it ponders on Take-Two Interactive's prospects at acquisition. Mike Hickey is of the opinion that given the proven success of the franchise, the company is a very enticing candidate for future acquisition.

Grand Theft Auto 4 - Image 1 Liberty City is getting injected with some glitz and glamor soon with the announcement of The Ballad of Gay Tony, the second downloadable episode for Grand Theft Auto IV. In contrast to the seedy biker gangs in the first episode, this one will focus more on Liberty City's high-end night life.

Rockstar logo - Image 1Somebody sure is playing coy. Well, a lot of them sure are, especially when it comes to confirmations pertaining to announcement/ reveals/ launches that are E3-related. Take for example Rockstar's rumored Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360, PS3) downloadable content. Their answer to the rumor: "We don't comment on rumor and speculation."

Grand Theft Auto 4With rumors running rampant about the Xbox 360-exclusive Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC also creeping its way to the PlayStation 3, Microsoft is quick to douse the flames. Contacting Gamespot to, hopefully, drive the nail into the coffin, they gave a succinct: "The [GTAIV] episodes are exclusive to Xbox 360."

Xbox 360 - Image 1Rumors and leaks are running rampant once again on Twitter. It looks like someone's feeling generous with Microsoft's planned E3 2009 line-up. The big MS has surely been rather tight-lipped about game announcements this year, and while we could expect certain few games to pop up in E3 (Alan Wake pls!), there's one sore thumb sticking out for PS3 fanboys and it goes by the acronym of MGS.

GTA again?! - Image 1This is another example of a crime in which gaming is once again linked, involving the notorious GTA no less. This time, however, the GTA player is the victim. Malcolm Palmer had been together with Carol Cannom for 30 years, a relationship that brought them three children and a Sony PlayStation. All was cool, until she got hooked on Grand Theft Auto and threw him out of the bedroom so that she could play all night and until morning. Palmer later attacked her with two knives, killing her with 20 separate wounds to the upper chest.
