Grand Theft Auto IV Rated M By ESRB - Image 1

Before anything else, do check out the screenshot above. Read the text carefully. Ok, let's go through the crucial stuff slowly. That's Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360, PS3), Rockstar Games, and finally, M for Mature. Given that, it's really not a surprise that the game was given such a rating. After all, the previous games were already controversial.

Anyway, for those "mature" enough to legitimately grab a copy of the game, you guys will be treated to the same fun that you experienced with the previous titles. For those weak of heart or new to the game, do expect partial nudity, intense violence, and so much more from the upcoming game. Don't say ESRB didn't warn you.

Some may find the rating to be expected. Some might even consider it to be just like the rest of the games out there. But to a few, the letter "M" simply spells out the word "fun". After all, there are things that you simply can't do in real life, but you can definitely go wild in GTA IV. We'll keep you guys posted for more updates on the game.

Damn you're a slow reader.

But it could've been AO, right?

Oh ya lol they did that when Halo came out,but honestly I really have no idea why Halo is an M game.GTA,on the other hand, is too mature for kids so I doubt they'll do that.It is possible though churches will do anything now a days.

 » Oh really?

I thought the game would be rated EC for Early Childhood (that's an actual ESRB rating).
