One of the most highly anticipated titles this year, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3, Wii), will finally be released this Sunday in the US and over 3,000 stores are expected to hold midnight launch events so gamers can start shredding as soon as the game comes out.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock was dubbed the "killer" game for the Wii. Analyst Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan also predicted that the game will be the strongest one this holiday season. It won't be surprising if the game is sold out in stores on its first day out so if you haven't pre-ordered, expect to have a hard time looking for a copy.
