Microsoft's Halo 3 is the most anticipated game for the Xbox 360, bar-none. While some players are drawn to the game because of the single-player campaign, more play it for the rush they get from p'wning other players online.

This split-screen video of Halo 3 hints of the game's awesome multiplayer. The two players featured in the video seem to be very inexperienced players though. I mean, come on guys, just because the vehicle is available doesn't mean you have to take it - especially if you're having difficulty piloting it. Still, we know that it's more fun when we sit down to play casually than trying to dominate the battlefield.

Anyway, enough talk, here's the video. Be sure to check it out and see the split-screen mode in action. Oh, and try not to snicker too much when the two gamers get owned at the beginning of the game.

BORING!!

This game doesn't look that much better than the first two. I'm sure it'll be a hit. I'm sure I'll buy it like the good consumer I am, but it seems to me like the differences between this and the first two are negligable.

» LMAO go play a Bly Ray or no split screen, 32fps Motostorm or something...

PS3 posters continuously posting negative on any 360 good news are becoming an embarrassment.

This looks too much like the first one!

And those oooo's and ahhhhh's are really irretating!

looks the same, how can a vehicle flip around and people still stay on it, never understood that lol

 » i know

people will buy this and be like shut up ps3 fanboys, but seriously if your not disappointed in this then u must have low expectations. i really did love playing the other halos, halo 1 single player, and halo 2 online, but this... im not so sure. it will sell massively, but for what reason, brand loyalty, people will be able to say they have halo 3, etc, but from what i can see, as a consumer with a brain, looking at both sides of the coin here, from the business, and the consumer, i wont be purchasing this game any time soon, (that wud be if i still had my 360), people you dont have to spend ur money on this, just to be 'cool'. yes i have a business marketing degree before anyone trys to tell me im talking sh it.people will buy this just for the status it gives them regardless of how good the game is or not. people wont want to be left out.

   Re: 01 (Unregistered) - 2007-05-15
 » thats why..

it's going to top the live charts for months after it's released..

   Re: Vecha - 2007-05-15
 » ummm

guess what. This isn't the only *****ing game out there. and there are waaay better games out for the 360. But that doesn't make it a horrible game.

so get off your high horse

   Re: Shatterdome - 2007-05-15
 » Sounds like...

you are talking about PS3 not halo 3....

You can bet it will be as good as halo 2 was, online that is....and halo 2 was damned fun online until everyone and their dog started hacking....so yeah, I have no problems buying this, even if it is just as good as halo 2....

I'm not sure why people expect something new and crazy....people liked halo 1 and halo 2, why would they change the forumla if it works ? They definately made some tweaks, added some weapons and vehicles, but the core gameplay will always stay the same in a franchise this popular....

Really, you people saying this is no better then Halo 1/2.....what did you expect, i'm curious to know...

how do you know what the game is gonna be like, you see the f*cking splitscreen gamely footage, you've never played the game, for all you know it could be 10 times better than the other two, dont judge until you've played the game

Halo 3 will top the Live charts for years after its release

   Re: Chris (Unregistered) - 2007-06-07
» Halo 3 isnt all about multiplayer

Man, i know what your saying but this game isnt going to be only for multiplayer. Halo 2 left a H U G E hole in the storyline in the ending. Plus, there are more things these ppl didnt show and everything is SUBJECT TO CHANGE this game is going to change for sure before it comes out and still we have almost a year before it launches so cool it.

wth are you talking about^^
but yea the people playing this suck. baddd

   Re: t (Unregistered) - 2007-05-15
 » Woooooowwwww I second that

Every video on GameTrailers, the people playing suck HORRIBLY. What is so hard about driving a vehicle? The guy in this vid apparently can't figure it out. It baffles me

And to skyler, I've never met a single person who bought Halo 2 just to say they have Halo 2. They bought it because the first game was amazing, and they wanted to give it a try. The same thing will happen with Halo 3, and so far Halo 3 seems much better than Halo 2, so I really don't think you know what you're talking about. I also highly doubt you have any form of a degree

doing my masters now actually.

   Re: Lurker (Unregistered) - 2007-05-16
 » Next!!

Just the fact that you talk about your degree means your full of it. Guess what, gamers are getting older, and hence the majority of us have been through post secondary education. Your preaching to the wrong croud skyler. Next time make a credible argument, and you wont have to say "yes i have a business marketing degree before anyone trys to tell me im talking sh it."
You wont lok so foolish.

 » BOO HOO!

First of all BOO HOO! I've been waiting all day to download the beta, and turns out it comes out at 11:00 Pm somewhere in North America time. Second of all that is some bull*****, now I have to wait till tomorrow. Third all you PS3 c0cksucking fans, if you hate 360 and anything that has to do with so much, stay the f=ck away from 360updates, and inside your ps3updates, it's only a susgestion. Now sleepy time, so I can pawn tomorrow in Halo 3.

» bungies reputation for downloadable content

ok I waited more than a week for the new halo 2 maps to be downloadable (payed for them the day they came out) and now the beta is not working for anyone who has crackdown. Am I suprised? No. What really gets to me is that there was a countdown timer on bungie.net it got to zero and whooooop..... nothing. Now that takes guts bungie!!!
