Halo 3 Controller - Image 1With a couple of weeks left before the landmark Halo 3 launch, Microsoft is reminding everyone that it has some special gear for the game to make the experience as complete as possible.

The company introduces its new line of accessories that include specialized Halo 3 Wireless Controllers, Wireless and Wired Headsets, plus a mini-keyboard called a Chatpad to make text communication easier.

Todd McFarlane, the famed creator of the Spawn comics, was tapped to design the gear and he's come up with Covenant Brute and Master Chief themes for the controllers which sell for US$ 59.99 and come with a Master Chief figurine.

For those who hate having to wrestle with wires, Halo 3's Wireless Headsets will be available in Spartan green and gold colors for US$ 59.99.

Finally, Microsoft introduces its new Chatpad and Wired Headset bundled together to form the Xbox 360 Messenger Kit which is geared towards improving chat communications be it by voice or text. The Messenger Kit will be yours for US$ 29.99.

Halo 3 is an Xbox 360 exclusive which launches come September 15th and is developed by Bungie Studios under the Microsoft publishing umbrella.
