Halo 3-themed Xbox 360 to be launched September 16

Halo 3 special edition Xbox 360 - Image 1Those who are awaiting the Halo 3 Xbox 360 SKU can now have a date to mark on their calendars: September 16.

The Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox 360 console will be priced at US$ 399, and will include a wireless controller and wired headset of the same military green hue, a Play and Charge kit, component cables, and downloadable Halo 3 themes. The Halo 360 will also have HDMI support.

While our previous article on the Halo 360 only shows a military green-colored Xbox, the recent picture that we have right here shows off the cool etchings on this particular Xbox 360 SKU. Think it's cool enough to buy? Better make your mind soon before its September 16 release date.

I have to admit, i like the way thiss 1 looks. I respect Halo franchise. Those orange highlights are hot. Maybe my only excuse to ACTUALLY buy an xbox. Plus my TV still has 1 free HDMI port :)

RRoD is fine by me(since i own PS3) as long as i get 3 yrs wrnt

No thanks to XBL though, unless its free.....(20 gig? i used 40 on PS3 already!)
