Several days ago, Ubisoft Montreal's anticipated next-generation action game Assassin's Creed launched on the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360. The title made quite a splash as the Internet buzzed with mixed reactions regarding the finished product.

In the aftermath of the Assassin's Creed launch, GameTrailers was able to catch up with producer Jade Raymond for a talk about the development of the project, the team's vision for it, and the attention that Jade has been getting lately from gamers.

In the video interview, Jade talks about how Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed team conceived the idea for the game. She also detailed how the crew grew from a core of eight people to 158 at its peak.

Aside from that, Jade talked about how Ubisoft wanted to create a true next-generation gaming experience by doing things that have never been done before in gaming such as designing a living, breathing city and more interaction with the environment than ever before.
