UK independent mag XboxWorld360 has tweeted that the previously announced PS3 exclusive playable character for Batman: Arkham Asylum won't be exclusive after all. According to them, it will, in fact, be headed to the Xbox 360 as well as a DLC -- and they have the May covergame to prove it. The tweet said: You've heard The Joker is playable in Arkham Asylum on PS3, right? Those stages are DLC on 360. It's our May covergame; look forward to it. Arkaham: Asylum is coming out for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on June of 2009. We are looking forward to it. Related Batman: Arkham Asylum Articles:

the PS3 really gets the shaft when it comes to exclusive DLC

» Well
Theres no such thing as exclusivity in the majority of games on the market. If a company totes exclusivity as a bonus then they'll get slapped with the loss of it once the other writes a check and gets the rights.
Don't base a buy off of what you think is going to be exclusive content if you have both systems because it wont be.

The Joker is only going to be playable on the PS3. Hence the PS Home poster that says "Only on the Playstation 3". Why would you guys post garbage from a UK independent source?

Maybe the PS3 only have the Joker Challenge as exclusive like the Pshome announcement said, but it could be playable on 360 in another game mode...I still have my reservations on that annoucement, the Wall where the announcement is has acurve, yet the announcement doesnt have that curve effect in the letter and Joker picture...but if it was fake Eidos would have say is fake right?

As far as I know, Joker being playable in the Challenge Room DLC is a PS3 exclusive. We got a press release from Eidos confirming that a few days ago.
However, this rumor from XboxWorld360 suggests that the same DLC will be available for the 360 version. As such, the clues are in the fine print. Note the quote: "Those stages are DLC on 360" - operative word being *stages*.
So... it looks like the challenge room DLC will also be available on the 360, but only the stages. However, Joker being playable on the DLC doesn't seem to be part of it for the 360.

exclusivity is bull*****...
ever since sony paid for MK3 exclusivity on the PSX i've hated it. i just waited for UMK3 to come to the saturn...
let the game stand on it's own if it's worth having on that system people will buy it...
i bought a PSX for MK Trilogy as it was the better system to play it on... not because of some stupid deal with the dev/publisher...
